We’ve got a ‘70s Ford F-100 Explorer laid flat on the ground—body dropped. Now, one thing I always say: nothing tucks like a Ford. Those small wheel arches swallow half the rim when you lay it out—and this one tucks just right. It’s got survivor patina, looks like factory paint, a little worn, and the interior is a time capsule—tear on the seat and all.

Now, old F-100s had that I-beam front suspension—great for ride quality back then, terrible for lowering. That’s why this one’s on an Acme chassis—beautifully done. That’s how you get it laying rockers on the ground.

And you know, I grew up around F-100s—my dad was a Ford man. I wrenched on these as a kid, which is probably why I drive an OBS Chevy now—they need less work! But this Ford? It’s got that perfect mix of old soul and modern craftsmanship. It’s just a cool truck, man.
