I entered a few images into PPANI - Northern Illinois image competition, and five of them received awards. Even more exciting, they placed among the top three in both the Groups & Families category and the Weddings category.

Image competitions are always a mix of excitement and nerves. You’re sharing work that means a lot to you and putting it in front of some incredibly talented photographers.

I’m really proud of these images and honored to have them recognized alongside so many photographers whose work I admire.

Grateful for a community that keeps pushing me to grow and create meaningful work.

Danny won a that had a kit to make this Pepsi wild cherry & cream drink. Once he finished making it I was inspired! Before he could enjoy I had him hold off while I quickly set up some lights around our kitchen table to capture a few photos.

Brianna and Brandon’s wedding at Bluestem Farm was beautiful from start to finish.

Such a stunning venue, an emotional ceremony, and the best energy all day. The dance floor was unreal, and every part of the day felt joyful and genuine.
