At just 1 year old, Starr is a young girl with lots of love to give! 💜 She knows exactly what she wants: attention, please! She’s more than happy to come right over for some pets and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.
With her gorgeous coloring and lovable personality, Starr has a way of making herself pretty hard to resist. She’s ready for a home where she can enjoy plenty of love, cozy spots, and all the head scratches she deserves. 🐾

And we have to give an extra special shoutout to Artie, who found his family after 263 DAYS with us! 🥹💜 After all that waiting, Artie finally got his turn — and we couldn’t be more excited for him.

Back in August, the team at Radco Industries held a fundraiser to support Anderson Humane and raised an incredible $2,260! 🐾💜
Radco is a small, locally based company in Batavia, and when we learned that their team has a combined fur family of 26 dogs, 8 cats and 4 other pets, we knew they were definitely a group that understands the special bond between people and animals. 🐶🐱🐢
So, we wanted to make sure we personally thanked the people who made their fundraiser such a success and headed over with Honey, one of our currently adoptable dogs, to deliver a very special thank-you. She soaked up all the attention and made plenty of new friends. Thank you, Radco, for being part of the Anderson Humane pack!

🚗🐾 8 DAYS UNTIL THE ROAD HOME!
The countdown is ON! On Saturday, October 3, we’re taking over Brilliance Subaru of Elgin for a MEGA Adoption Event filled with dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens ready to find their next destination: HOME. 💜
And in celebration of Anderson Humane’s 60th Anniversary, we’ll have some adoption specials!
🐾 $60 OFF adoption fees for pets 6 months and younger
