Creating pitching lane for daughter. Project two - building protective wall around geothermal unit & water heater.

Creating pitching lane for daughter. Project one - widening doorway. Including some rewiring.
I created a pitching lane in our own basement so my daughter could practice.
I needed to:
1 - widen the doorway into our back room
2 - build an enclosure to protect our geothermal unit and water heater
3 - protect fragile aspects of the basement (lights, window, tv)
I’ll put the progression in several posts so there aren’t a million photos to wade through.

Latest job. First time replacing windows!!

Old gliders given to me by a friend. I sanded them, added wood for support (they were very weathered!!), used “wood repair” for the larger cracks, primed & painted. Now they’re sturdy, beautiful and functional!
