Manufacturing Outlook just named RISE Robotics its Top Robotics Manufacturing Company of 2026! 🏆

Manufacturing Outlook is a trade publication that covers industrial manufacturing for supply chain leaders and equipment executives. Their editorial board evaluates companies technologies and strategies in the global manufacturing sector, awarding based on impact, and we're honored by the recognition.

Here’s what impressed them most:
- On an all-electric liftgate, Beltdraulic™ cuts cycle times roughly in half and trims about 200 pounds off system weight versus a hydraulic equivalent, meaning faster stops, more payload, and less downtime for fleet operators.
- On the defense side, our Beltdraulic™ SuperJammer set a record for the world's strongest robotic arm prototype, lifting 7,015 pounds, which helped earn us a $3M AFWERX Tactical Funding Increase from the U.S. Air Force.

Their conclusion: RISE Robotics is the premier choice for executives evaluating fluid-free actuation in robotics manufacturing.

Exciting news: RISE has crossed $10M in total revenue. 🎉

That revenue reflects years of work taking Beltdraulic™ from breakthrough technology into real-world commercial and defense applications. Revenue is one of the best signals that our technology works, is delivering value, and that the market is ready to leave inefficient fluid-filled, leak-prone systems behind.

We're not stopping here. RISE is kicking off our third liftgate pilot in early October, on top of the commercial and defense contracts already generating revenue today. This milestone stands on the foundation we've spent years building: 20+ patents, a world record title, and a system that is 3x faster, more efficient, and more reliable than hydraulics, with zero emissions.

3,100+ investors across 73 countries are already building this future with us. If you've been waiting for a sign to invest, this is it.

A €56B French industrial giant just toured our lab.

Last week, we welcomed a senior delegation from Groupe Bouygues, including their Group Chief Innovation Officer and technical heads from across their construction and infrastructure divisions.

It was a huge honor to introduce 13 pioneering leaders from the ~€56B French industrial group to our Beltdraulic™ technology, a fluid-free electric actuation system that is 3x faster, 3x more efficient, 3x more durable, and 20% lighter than hydraulics.

Construction is one of the largest markets still running on hydraulics: systems that leak oil, waste energy, and need constant maintenance. A company the size and caliber of Bouygues sending this level of seniority to see our technology firsthand indicates that the industry is ready for better alternatives.

Thank you to Jewan John Bae and MIT School of Engineering's Office of Corporate Relations for coordinating the visit, and to the Groupe Bouygues team for spending the morning with us at our HQ in Somerville, MA!

We're building toward tremendous commercial demand in a $750B market that hasn't changed in a century, and you can own a stake in our growth. Learn more and join 3,100+ investors in backing RISE on Wefunder 👉 https://hubs.ly/Q04xwZYz0

Fun fact: We set out to build an Iron Man suit. Then we found something bigger. 🚀

RISE CEO Hiten Sonpal recently joined Henry Harrison to open Season 7 of his podcast and tell this story live. You can watch the full episode here: https://hubs.ly/Q04wYHVD0

Our founders left MIT in 2011 chasing something almost fantastical for the time: an exosuit strong enough to lift a car and set it back down. They needed a way to move it. Hydraulics was the obvious answer, except hydraulics are heavy, slow, and they leak. Nothing on the market could do what they needed.

So they invented something new. Beltdraulic™ pulls instead of pushes, closer to how a human muscle moves than a hydraulic piston ever could. Once they built it, they realized the actuator itself was the real invention rather than the suit around it. Hydraulics is a massive $750B industry that hasn't seen a meaningful breakthrough in decades. They shelved the exosuit and went after that opportunity instead.

Hiten joined later to leverage his experience at iRobot to commercialize their invention and turn twenty-plus patents and years of R&D into a business. Since then, our work is already showing up as revenue. We have active deployments in defense, a liftgate in pilots, and cylinders actively shipped to customers.

Heavy machinery is going electric. But replacing a diesel engine with a battery doesn't make the whole machine electric.

Hydraulics still do much of the actual work, creating the force that lifts, pushes, digs, and moves heavy loads.

RISE CEO Hiten Sonpal recently joined Tom Raftery on the Climate Confident podcast to discuss why actuation is an important part of the electrification conversation, where Beltdraulic™ fits, and how increasingly electric and digital machines are laying the foundation for automation and Physical AI.

It’s a great conversation about what it actually takes to transform an industry built around technology that has worked for generations.

Built in Massachusetts. Now backed by Massachusetts. 💰🦾

Some news worth celebrating: RISE Robotics has been awarded a $100,000 START Grant from MassVentures, funded by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts! 🎉

RISE was one of just 26 Massachusetts startups selected this year from a record number of applicants.

Why does this matter?

💰 It’s 100% non-dilutive funding. The capital supports RISE’s continued commercialization without giving up equity.

📈 There’s an opportunity to advance. As a Stage I awardee, RISE is eligible to compete for additional START funding, with up to $800,000 in total funding available across the program’s stages.

🏆 We’re joining the ranks of some of Massachusetts’ most promising innovators. Since 2012, START has backed 157 companies that have gone on to raise more than $5 billion in private capital.

This award is another validation of the progress RISE is making toward bringing Beltdraulic™ technology into broader commercial markets and we’re proud to be building it right here in Massachusetts.

With 3,000+ investors already behind RISE, we’re excited about what comes next.

We just wrapped two days at iVT Expo USA in Chicago

This is the largest off-highway vehicle technology show in North America bringing together the engineers, OEMs, and suppliers building the future of our industry. 🦾

Electrification, automation, and AI-enablement of off-highway machinery dominated the conversation at this year's event. Several potential customers stopped by our booth to check out how our Beltdraulic™ cylinders unlock all of these capabilities for heavy machines by delivering hydraulic-class force through an electric, digitally controlled actuation platform.

We also reconnected with several companies in our sales pipeline and advanced many of those conversations. In-person trade shows are useful for exactly that reason - we can attract new leads and continue building relationships while showcasing how far our technology has come all within two days.

Watch the video for a look inside the booth. 🎥 https://hubs.ly/Q04vx45b0

RISE Robotics is powering the shift to electric, AI-enabled heavy machines, and companies across construction, agriculture, mining, and material handling equipment are taking note. Now is the time to get on board, double down, or share this opportunity with your network.
