LIFT Bike Project
In 2009, Liz Powers founded the LIFT Bike Project to help low-income individuals secure free, sustainable transportation.
Based in Boston, the LIFT Bike Project is an organization seeking to address issues of transportation access among those who lack it through donated refurbished bicycles. The LIFT Bike Project is an “earn-a-bike” program that provides homeless and low-income individuals living in the Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston areas with free helmets, locks, and refurbished bicycles. Clients earn their bike
Looking forward to the LIFT Bike Project give-away today at 5:30 at Boston City Hall! Join!
It is our biggest give-away ever. 30 individuals are receiving bikes, helmets, and locks today! They earned the bikes by volunteering for over 300 hours collectively.
We have 30 amazing individuals who have contributed over 300 hours in volunteer service in order to earn their bikes, helmets, and locks.
Come celebrate their hard work on Friday, April 26 at 5:30 PM in front of Boston City Hall!
Bike applications are due this Friday, April 5th! Tell your clients :)
