Somerville Positive Forces are Somerville youth working to reduce underage drinking, substance abuse and related issues among Somerville youth and adult community members.
Hello SCAP Friends,
We're $$ recruiting Somerville teens (ages 13 - 17) to be part of a team to raise awareness of youth and problem gambling through a virtual photo exhibit. Participants will learn about social justice and health issues; build skills in advocacy and photography; and gain knowledge about problem gambling and healthy risk-taking.
$ Stipends will be provided based on participation for both youth (up to $240) and adult caregivers (up to $50). Youth will also earn 12-26 volunteer hours.
