On any given day you just never know what’ll come into our shop. Case in point: a gentleman arrived with a box of old tubes he recovered from his deceased relative’s estate in Montclair NJ. These old tubes were carefully wrapped in a newspaper from 1935 (check out Al Capone!), and show examples of early colored glass, experimental electrodes and filling techniques, along with handwritten notes regarding each. These tubes are approaching 90 years old. We wonder how today’s LED imitations will look in 2120! #neon #neonwilliams #longlifeneon #realneonsigns #ledsigns
