Feeling the fire horse energy as we move into the lunar new year 2026! I’m a Sagittarius and was born in the year of the horse so this is an extra special year for me. I can already see the possibilities falling into place and the opportunities keep getting bigger and better. Can’t wait to write an absolute ton and get our songs heard by people who don’t even know they need them yet 🤞🏼🎤

I have some announcements I can’t share yet, but one of pieces I can share is that I have joined forces with for duo restaurant cover gigs all over the New England area. I look forward to our first gig this Thursday at 7:30 at in Pembroke- if you’re in the south shore, come through!

Can’t wait to even more deeply shape my life around music this year and hopefully make some of the most intimate, inspiring, and memorable work of my life. Our next album will have themes related to fire and the energy of the world right now so get readyyyyyy

We are delighted to announce we have chosen a wildly talented new drummer .row aka Travis Rowland, Jr. 🔥🥁Travis hails from Arizona originally, loves Rnb, funk, and alternative rock, and also plays with the awesome Boston q***r witchy soul/funk band 🪄.

We just played our first show together in New London last week with and and we’re playing our first local show together this Friday 2/13 at The Jungle… swipe for flyer. We will also be joined by two new auxiliary members who are joining our project for select shows, Meredith Blankenship aka on flute, and Gabe Stillman on sax, guitar, and keyboards. ✨✨✨

We’re so lucky to be expanding the band to this level and we think the show Friday will honestly be a night to remember so mark your calendars for Friday night the thirteenth!!

As a q***r woman I have been horrified by the violence demonstrated against our community this week in Minnesota by ICE. And yet we have to resist. We cannot live in the fear they want, even if they point a gun at our heads.

Many of us will survive this and we will build a new world. In the meantime, we need spaces to mourn as even that is being taken away from us with insistence that Renee Good was a domestic terrorist or that she was trying to murder a cop. WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. We know how many are being manipulated to disregard their own eyes. We know how our community is being targeted right now, from Renee’s death to le***an veterans being beaten by ice officers in the street to a visibly q***r couple one with green hair and one butch with shaved sides being choked out and having their hands broken. We will survive this but we will never forget and we demand justice.

This song is sung for my community but especially for Becca Good, who survived the worst.

Sending love the only way I know how with ‘s Marry the Night in a way that appropriately reflects a lot of complicated feelings I am having, as well as the feelings I first had when I heard it walking down the streets of New York City as a baby bisexual with a lot of trauma to take the subway at 21 years old. Ironically, I now realize Gaga was writing this song under the same conditions.

We must fight back NOW and bring visibility to every ICE facility in our communities so we can get them out of our neighborhoods. This is my personal protest against the ICE facility in Burlington, MA- like and share to hear more of the song 💪🏼 F**k ICE- what they did to Renee Good could have happened to any of us. We demand justice for her and everyone else they have harmed and jailed and maimed and tortured and killed and disappeared NOW.

Hope everyone is having a happy 2026 so far! We have a TON of creative goals for 2026 and we can’t wait to get started on them! Our first order of business is an acoustic show with Melissa, Cedric and our friend Meredith Blankenship on flute. We look forward to stripping down the RG set, playing some new material, and providing a relaxing, inspiring, and politically minded opening set for this Saturday 1/3 at the Jungle!

We will be onstage at 4 pm- be there or be in your bed!

I wrote so many new songs this week, and I’m in a deep songwriting and poetry creation period… I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on eventually! Diving into the deep well these days ✨

I can’t wait to go back to Joshua Tree for the artist in residence program someday ✍🏼
