Survivors know what it takes to boldly stare fear and pain and danger in the face, dig deep, and do the thing anyway.

Power to the Survivors.

Moana 2 may not be the first thing you think about when you feel like you're up against something so big you cannot figure a way through it. However, I have a kid who loves Moana and can struggle to problem solve when things don't go the way he intended. So, the phrase "There's always another way, Moana" is said a lot.

I have two really important things I want you to reflect on from the article linked in the comments.

Here's the long story short: Some brave survivors have been working alongside community accomplices to get some important things done. Folks with power have been stalling, trying to cover up and not do what they said they would do. This has been going on for quite some time, and things just kept slowing down and getting all mucked up. And then survivors said "there's another way."

What do you suppose the two points I want you to reflect on might be?

Imagine you are in a forest.
Surrounded by rocky and mossy hills and lush green trees.
You stand on an overlook.
Solid ground beneath your feet.
Below you is a river, gently flowing, lapping against the shoreline.
In the distance is a waterfall, water cascading over a ledge with purposeful violence down into the river. When the sun shines through the clouds, a rainbow appears in the whispering mist across the face of the waterfall.
You listen closely.
The gentle waves from the river play in the foreground, and calling birds and low sounds of awe from other onlookers interrupt the overarching sounds from the water traversing through the falls back into the river.
You inhale deeply.
The warm air smells of leaves and moistened rocks and sand.
The breeze is gentle and carries the mist across your face.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe deeply.
