With Summer right around the corner, our Family Resource and Youth Service Center staff will be very busy!
The Reading and Feeding Bus will be visiting our elementary schools on the following dates and times. Please plan on visiting our wonderful FRYSC staff while they are out to serve the community!

Just a reminder, the office is opened Monday-Thursday this week during Spring Break. We will be closed Friday, April 10 for a long weekend with our families. Please let us know if we can help with anything!

Migrant Education and ESL are hosting our annual Spring Fling! As always, there will be food, games, an egg hunt, and fun!
*Note: This year food will be provided. That being said, a drawing will still be done for those in attendance.

Holiday Information you need to know!

Today (Monday) and Tomorrow (Tuesday) are the LAST 2 DAYS to get regular supplemental food carts before Christmas. We will be giving out Christmas Food Boxes later this week.

If you preregistered for a Christmas Food Box, you may pick up your box at God’s Food Pantry (119 S. Central Ave, Somerset, KY) between 10:00am and 2:30pm on:

Wednesday, December 17th
Thursday, December 18th
Friday, December 19th
OR
Monday, December 22nd
Tuesday, December 23rd

Please bring your ID and the meal ticket you received when you preregistered. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, we will be serving ONLY those families who reserved a food box in advance.

We anticipate that we will still have some extra food boxes available after all reserved boxes are picked up. If you did NOT reserve a food box during our sign-up period, you may come to God’s Food Pantry on Monday, December 22nd from 10:00am – 2:30pm to request a box. Please bring IDs for each household member and a utility bill or lease (in your name) showing your Pulaski County address. We will provide food to as many families as we can that day. Please come early to be sure you get a box.

Sack lunches will still be available on Christmas Food Box distribution days to anyone NOT picking up a food box.

Tuesday, December 16th will be our last day to give out our regular supplemental food carts before Christmas. We will resume regular cart service on Monday, December 29th.

Please note that God’s Food Pantry will be closed Wednesday, December 24 – Friday, December 26 so our staff and volunteers may celebrate Christmas with their families. We will NOT be responding to requests for food December 24-26. Please plan accordingly.

New 2026 calendars will be available with your Christmas boxes!
