Congratulations to Jonathan Davenport and Landers Motorsports winning last nights Friday edition of Dream weekend, Long Live Red Valve Covers !!!

Sixth-starting Jonathan Davenport took the lead from Brandon Overton on a late race restart tonight at Eldora Speedway and pocketed the hefty $30,000 windfall in our Dirt Late Model Dream prelim feature!!

Well that’s a wrap on the 2025/26 Australian Title! 🏁

We brought it home in P3 — equal best ever result for us at an Australian Title — and, in one of the most competitive fields we’ve seen.

The final was epic. Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway raced top to bottom, with cars 3 and 4 wide at times. We had a really strong long-run car rolling the middle, and with about 20 to go I moved into P2 and started to close in on Todd for the lead. Unfortunately, a lapped car baulked us at the wrong time and we dropped back to P4 just before a caution.

On the restart with 15 to go, Kye got by and we slipped back to P5. But with about 5 laps to go the car really came back to life and we were able to drive back through to finish P3.

Super proud of our team and the effort that went into this weekend. Huge shoutout to everyone up the front — it was a hectic race, but everyone raced clean. Had a lot of people on the infield saying it was some of the best racing they’ve seen at Toowoomba, and I’m proud we got to be part of that show.

Congrats to Kye on going back-to-back — he’s the benchmark in Australian late model racing right now and we’ve all got work to do to catch him. And well done to Todd as well, he drove a great race out front.

JD bagged the $25,000 first place prize money ahead of runner-up Hudson O'Neal, Drake Troutman, Brandon Sheppard, and Tyler Erb. Wins #18 & #19 of the 2025 season 🤘
