Andrew Moore on The Set List 6-17-26 06/18/2026

Last night marked the final episode of The Set List, and I truly could not have asked for a better guest to close this chapter than Andrew Moore of Andrew Moore & H***h.

Andrew joined me for a conversation about his music, his friendship with legendary golfer John Daly, and his upcoming release party on June 26. He also performed two incredible songs live in the studio: "Mountain," his recent release, and "Peace Love and Harmony," a brand-new song set to be released on June 19.

More than the music, though, it was a special night because Andrew took a moment to share some very kind words about the show and what it has meant over the years. In return, I had the opportunity to reflect on what The Set List has meant to me.

For nearly four years, this show has given me the privilege of sitting across from some of Kentucky's most talented artists, hearing their stories, and helping share their music with our community. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

Thank you to every musician who trusted me with their story, every listener who tuned in, and everyone who supported local music along the way. Ending this journey with an artist as genuine, talented, and thoughtful as Andrew was perfect.

What a beautiful way to bring The Set List to a close. ❤️🎶

Tune in for the encore to Somerset 106.1 FM, this Saturday, June 20 at 3PM EST or online at somerset106.com

After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to step away from Somerset 106 and WTLO.

For the past several years, I've had the privilege of hosting The Set List, It's Finally Friday Live, and being part of a station that means so much to our community. What started as an opportunity became a career filled with unforgettable moments, incredible music, meaningful conversations, and friendships I'll carry with me long after I leave.

To the musicians who trusted me with their stories and songs, thank you. Kentucky's music community is filled with some of the most talented, hardworking, and inspiring people I've ever met. It has been an honor to help share your art with our listeners.

To everyone who tuned in to The Set List, listened to It's Finally Friday Live, called, texted, commented, shared posts, constantly encouraged me, and believed in the vision and the passion...thank you.

I'm also incredibly grateful to my coworkers, past and present, who helped shape this chapter of my life. Together we've celebrated successes, navigated challenges, and created something special.

While this chapter is coming to an end, my love for local music, community storytelling, and supporting artists isn't going anywhere. I'm excited to see what comes next and look forward to staying connected with all of you.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your afternoons, your drives home, your Fridays, and your Wednesdays.

With gratitude and deepest thanks,

Kate

We dove into his debut EP Shine and played three awesome tracks, “Lose Your Shine,” “Pull the Thread,” and the beautifully written love song “Who I Used to Be.”

We talked about Sam’s musical journey from growing up in church with his mom playing piano, to classical piano training and high school band, all the way to carving out his own lane as a hard rock artist. That foundation really shines through in his songwriting and musicianship.

Find Sam's self-produced, debut EP, "Shine," everywhere music is streamed!

Thank you, Sam!

Flashback Theater "Fleetwood MacBeth" on The Set List 5-6-26 05/11/2026

The full interview with Flashback Theater Co. is now available! 🎭 We got a sneak peak into the upcoming production of Fleetwood MacBeth with Ricky Glore (Fleetwood MacBeth playwright), Sommer Renae Schoch (Director), Gregory Blair (Mac) and Erin Wolford (Lady) and the upcoming musical at The Virginia in Downtown Somerset.During this interview, Gregory (Mac) and Erin (Lady) performed “Don’t Stop” and “Big Love” live in studio, and if tonight was any indication, this show is going to be equal parts hilarious, chaotic, clever, and genuinely impressive.

Fleetwood MacBeth takes Shakespeare’s Macbeth and drops it into the world of a 1970s radio station, complete with ambition, betrayal, power struggles, and the music of Fleetwood Mac woven throughout the story. It’s such a unique concept, but hearing the cast talk about it tonight made it clear there’s a lot more heart and storytelling here than just parody. Please read the content warning available on the Flashback Theater Co.'s website provided below.

Performances run May 14–24 at The Virginia in Downtown Somerset. 🎟️ Tickets and show information are available at https://www.flashbacktheater.co/
