🚒 Training Day! 🔥
Yesterday, members of Solon Fire Rescue, along with our mutual aid partners, participated in live fire training at Cuyahoga Community College.

These realistic training scenarios provide our firefighters with valuable hands on experience and the opportunity to practice critical skills in a controlled environment.

Thank you 😊
Liberty Hill Apartments management and maintenance staff brought some lunch at Station 2 to show appreciation for our responses to some recent emergency calls there. It was great to spend time with them over lunch learning more about their roles, and also them learning more about how our department operates. Fun time had by all! Thank you Liberty Hill Apartments staff!

Today, please pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Also, please honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, law enforcement officers, service members, and everyday citizens who answered the call in our nation's time of need.

As we reflect on this solemn 25th anniversary continue to remember those we lost and express gratitude to those who continue to stand watch over and serve our communities.
