Good news! Water service has been restored, and the Solon Community Center and Outdoor Pool are OPEN and operating as normal.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while crews worked to repair the water main break.

Now it's time to get back to swimming, fitness, and summer fun!

A little rain isn't going to stop the celebration!

Due to rain in the forecast, Solon Pride Day | 2026 has been moved indoors to the Solon Community Center Gym. Same location, same time—just inside where we'll stay dry and keep the fun going!

All activities will take place indoors.

The Pride Parade is still tentative. We'd love to hold it if the weather cooperates, and we'll make a decision closer to parade time.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: July 2 Fireworks Rescheduled

After careful review of construction progress and site conditions at Solon Community Park, the City of Solon has made the difficult decision to reschedule the July 2 Fireworks Display.

While construction continues to make great progress, essential infrastructure needed to safely host the event—including parking, restroom facilities, and field lighting—will not be available in time. After evaluating multiple options and consulting with Police and Fire leadership, it was determined that proceeding as planned would present safety concerns for attendees, staff, and emergency responders.

We know this tradition is important to our community, and we share in your disappointment. Our goal is to reschedule the fireworks later this year, and we are actively working to identify a new date.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Additional details will be shared as soon as they become available.

A huge thank you to the Solon Community Band for taking us on an incredible musical journey across America with "The Great American Road Trip." From coast to coast, the music was outstanding, the weather was beautiful, and the community spirit was even better!

Check out the Solon Recreation Youth Volleyball League!

Partnered with and competing against the Aurora and Kenston communities, participants of all skill levels, from 1st to 9th grade, will learn the game of volleyball in a fun and supportive environment.

The league runs from the middle of September through the middle of November, offering a structured yet enjoyable program where players can develop their skills, build friendships, and foster a love for the game.

Whether your child is a beginner or has been playing for years, our league provides an inclusive and engaging experience for all. Join us for a season of teamwork, skill development, and, most importantly, fun!🏐
