NOPEC

Are you aware of the fact that the refrigerator uses the most energy of appliances in your kitchen? ⚡

Many people think it is the oven, but that is not true. The fridge is constantly running, and having to keep things cool and frozen is a large use of energy. ❄

ENERGY STAR appliances are recommended for efficiency.

🚨 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: Several residents have recently reported suspicious door-to-door visits involving their energy accounts. In some cases, residents were approached by someone claiming to represent NOPEC and were even moved to a different supplier without their knowledge.

Remember: 𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗖 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗹𝘆 to request account information, ask for copies of your bill, pressure you to switch suppliers, or tell you that you need to re-enroll on the spot.

Do not share your account information or sign anything without verifying who you are speaking with. If someone comes to your home claiming to represent NOPEC, call our Customer Care Center immediately at 855-667-3201.

Autumn is nearly here! 🍂

With that in mind, temperatures outside will continue to drop. Turning up your thermostat even just a couple degrees and opening windows can mean big savings on your monthly energy bill! 💵

The biggest user of energy for your home is heating and cooling, so be diligent.

The second home has officially closed through NOPEC's Neighborhood Next program, an initiative designed to transform vacant properties into affordable, energy-efficient homes for local families. 🏡

This home represents more than a successful project; it represents opportunity, stability, and a stronger future for both a family and the community around them.

Congratulations to these new homeowners! We're grateful to everyone who helped make this moment possible and excited to see how Neighborhood Next continues to help families put down roots and build a brighter future.
