Continuing with our series, we are 1/3 of the way through some of our most influential nerves!
The fourth cranial nerve, the trochlear nerve, is also involved in our ability to see, along with other cranial nerves (oculomotor and abducens for eye movement). Did you know it is responsible for being able to look towards your nose?
Needling should be treated just like any other soft tissue modality-- it should be followed by movement, so that your patient can learn how to move without pain, or with new range of motion. Without using the new found changes, your patient's body is losing a vital window of time to move more optimally in the long term.
