Three years ago, Gardiner made a commitment to put Client Experience at the center of our culture.
We believed that if we wanted to create exceptional experiences for our clients, we first needed to create an exceptional experience for our people. To support that vision, we established a dedicated Client Experience function and partnered with Frank Favaro and ServeCentric Coaching to help shape a framework centered around recognition, accountability, and the everyday behaviors that reflect who we are and what we stand for.
Since then, we’ve seen the impact firsthand. By investing in our people, recognizing great work, and reinforcing the values that guide us, we’ve built a stronger, more connected team, and our clients have felt the difference.
This case study tells the story of that journey and highlights a lesson that continues to shape how we operate today: great client experiences start on the inside. When people feel valued, supported, and connected to a shared purpose, they’re able to do their best work for each other and for our clients.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to everyone who has helped make this part of who we are. Because at the end of the day, culture isn’t separate from client experience, it’s what makes it possible.

Meet Marin Musser - New Systems Sales Engineer.
With a desire to be challenged and a keen eye for details, Marin joined our New Systems Sales team looking for the opportunity to go above and beyond. And that she has - from her dedication to seeing every project through to taking on accounts and facilitating sales growth in Cleveland, Fort Wayne, and beyond, Marin has established herself - not just as our first female sales engineer, but as one of the most integral pieces to our entire team.
At Gardiner, we have assembled the most experienced, most knowledgeable, and most client-first team in the industry. Marin follows that example, providing our contractors, engineers, and customers with understanding of details and ensuring every project is seen through to completion. People like Marin don't just help us maintain our reputation - they help it grow stronger.
This is How Gardiner Does It.

Yesterday, the Gardiner team had the opportunity to attend and exhibit at the Ohio Schools Council Custodian & Maintenance Leadership Conference at Orange High School.
This event is dedicated to the professionals who keep our schools running safely, efficiently, and comfortably every day. With representatives from nearly 50 school districts and more than 400 attendees, the conference focused on leadership development, professional growth, collaboration, and networking for custodial and maintenance teams across Northeast Ohio.
We appreciate the Ohio Schools Council and local business managers for creating an event that invests in these often-unsung heroes of K-12 education. Even better, proceeds from the conference support scholarships for graduating seniors, helping make a lasting impact on our local communities.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to discuss facility operations, energy efficiency, building automation, safety, and strategies for maintaining high-performing learning environments.

Meet Sam Farhoud - Regional Service Manager.
Sam brings over two decades of experience to Gardiner, and over those twenty years, he's gone from being a technician to becoming a leader and manager on our service team. How did Sam do it? A willingness to learn everything and anything necessary for success - from process excellence to all the ins and outs of our equipment.
It's enabled Sam to not only understand the importance of every job he's on, but to understand the needs of his team. His attitude - to ensure that from our associates in the field to the clients we work with are set up for long-term success - speaks to how Gardiner has become the most trusted name in building solutions in Northern Ohio and beyond.

Please welcome Joe Plisko, Project Engineer, and Dylan Jones, Fire & safety Technician, to the Gardiner team!
Joe brings a strong blend of technical knowledge, hands-on engineering experience, and relationship-building skills through his studies in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Cincinnati and his experience in technical sales and engineering roles. From supporting HVAC equipment projects and customer visits, to collaborating on engineering and automation solutions, Joe has already built a strong foundation in both the technical and customer-facing sides of the industry. His leadership experience as President of the University of Cincinnati Society of Sales Engineers also reflects his initiative, communication skills, and passion for connecting people and ideas. We’re excited to see the impact he’ll make on our team and customers!
Dylan brings nearly eight years of experience in fire and life safety systems, specializing in installation, inspection, maintenance, and compliance across a variety of critical safety systems. His expertise with emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and commercial kitchen suppression systems — along with his extensive knowledge of NFPA standards and Ansul systems — makes him a valuable addition to the team. Dylan’s strong technical background, commitment to safety, and collaborative approach will help continue delivering the high level of service our customers expect.
We’re excited to have Joe and Dylan join Gardiner and look forward to the experience, dedication, and energy they bring to our customers, associates, and community.
Welcome to the team, Joe and Dylan!

Our team had the opportunity to attend the Ohio School Safety Summit this week, and once again, it proved to be one of the most impactful events of the year for those dedicated to creating safer learning environments.
From the inspiring keynote presentations to the thought-provoking breakout sessions, the summit reinforced that school safety is about so much more than physical security—it’s about people, relationships, prevention, preparedness, and community.
Marc Mero opened the event with a powerful message on making positive choices, overcoming adversity, and empowering students to reach their full potential. His story and passion for helping young people navigate challenges such as bullying, anxiety, peer pressure, and mental health left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
William "Guy" Burney delivered an equally impactful keynote focused on trust, collaboration, and the role relationships play in creating safer schools and stronger communities. His message reminded us that how we respond to challenges can shape outcomes, build connections, and create hope.
The breakout sessions covered critical topics including behavioral threat assessment, mental health support, student-led safety initiatives, emergency preparedness, and collaborative approaches to school safety. It was encouraging to see educators, administrators, first responders, and industry partners sharing ideas and solutions that are making a real difference across Ohio schools.
Most importantly, the conversations we had with school leaders throughout the summit were invaluable. Hearing firsthand about their challenges, successes, and goals continues to drive our commitment to helping create safer, smarter, and more resilient school environments.
A huge thank you to Emily Torok and the entire Ohio School Safety Center team for organizing another outstanding event and bringing together so many passionate professionals dedicated to protecting Ohio’s students and staff.
