A small project in the works!

Sunday I visited the opening of the Ohio Designer Craftsman “Best of 2026 Show” at the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus. It’s a wonderful show and I’m honored to have been accepted. I included some stitch related works I liked but the show includes glass, wood, metals and more.
The show is from May 3-July 3 then travels to Kent State University .

I never miss a vote! This year’s is EXTREMELY important!

Today I shipped Spinning, Indigo Burst and Ocean Blooms to the 2026 Face of Fiber in the Rockies. It will take place June 12 to July 11 at the Art Center of Estes Park. Perhaps you’ll be in the area to see the show!

I’m very happy to have a piece in this show for the first time.

The “Best of 2026” opens with a Sunday, May 3, reception from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Ohio Craft Museum. Award recipients will be recognized at 3:00 pm. Juror Carol Sauvion, creator of the Peabody-award-winning PBS series, Craft in America, and the recently retired executive director of the Craft in America organization, selected 73 works in clay, glass, metal, wood, fiber and mixed media from nearly 400 entries. Sixteen artists received awards of excellence in Ohio Designer Craftsmen’s annual members competition.
