Bicycle enthusiast alert: Creek to Creek Greenway coming to Parma and Parma Heights In an effort to promote cycling in the area, Bike Parma is introducing the Creek to Creek Greenway.

Come join us for a short, slow-paced memorial ride for Alex Pretti on Saturday, January 31st at Van Aken District. Meet at 1:00pm, roll-out at 1:30pm.

Alex was a kind and caring soul in Minneapolis who was killed by ICE while peacefully protecting a member of his community from abuse. He was a member of his local cycling community and a customer of Angry Catfish Bicycle Shop, who has asked the wider cycling community across the nation to join them in hosting a memorial ride.

Solon City Council advanced the Headwaters Connector Greenway, a planned rail-to-trail bike path along an abandoned Norfolk Southern line that will connect Solon and Bainbridge and extend toward Aurora. https://neohio.news/2025/11/21/solon-council-moves-forward-on-headwaters-connector-greenway-trail/

A Bike Park would be a fantastic addition to the Solon Recreation Department facilities. The upcoming Headwaters Trail would connect to Timberlake Park right? :-)

The Cleveland Metroparks Cliffs Bike Park is a public-use pump track features a circuit of small hills and banked turns designed for bicycle motocross and mountain bike riders. The bike playground will offer beginners and youth an opportunity to practice their riding skills and build confidence. The competition course features multiple rollers, berms and a wood wrapped tunnel, while the paved jump line challenges more advanced riders.
