Celebrating National Donut Day and the opening of the new Solon George’s Donuts Twinsburg & Solon in style with some delicious sweet treats.

Some days are simply better than others. And getting to spend the day Cedar Point, thanks to the wonderful folks at The Arc of Ohio and their planning, makes for one of those days. Roller coasters, ice cream, and so much more helped create a day of memories and laughter.

Today, we celebrated Gabby. Gabby joined us before our first door opened and just completed her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. To celebrate, we gathered as a community to celebrate not just her accomplishments, but her impact here and the brilliant accomplishments yet to come! Congrats Gabby!

Solon Community Living is out on the town! The rain couldn't bother us when Glow Sticks Golf is open! With lots of dropped score cards, "Does my shirt glow in the dark?" questions, and a few hole-in-ones, our residents and staff enjoyed going out in the community and seeing what new local businesses have to offer.

Today we pause and thank those who game the ultimate sacrifice.

Our love for our community doesn't end at the property line. At Solon Community Living, we make sure that we're an active part of the Greater Cleveland community. Below is just a sampling of some of the activities that we've had over the course of the past year.

Not to dispute the great philosopher Beyonce, who was correct when she eloquently stated, "Who runs the world? Girls!", but perhaps it is a narrower subset that actually runs the world: Moms.

Our community would be nothing without the moms. Whether they're providing the loving shoulder, the stern talk or just an ear to listen with, we take a moment to thank and celebrate them.

As the ever-eloquent formerly-known Ms. Knowles also said, "And even though I know, someday, you're gonna shine on your own
I will be your protector".
