Our Shared Journey Support Group will convene tomorrow at 4:00pm. This is a support group for caregivers of those with dementia or related memory illnesses.

We are pleased to bring this to the community!

Everyone’s mental health is important, but men are more likely to suffer in silence, which is why for Men’s Mental Health Month we wanted to highlight ways to support men this month and every month.

Asking the hard questions can be uncomfortable, but it could be life saving! Check in with the men in your life and know that our clinics are here to support men, women, children, and families in Scurry County and beyond!

Why a special month for men? Because men are more likely to struggle and less likely to speak. Men can be especially prone to the symptoms of complex-PTSD, substance use, and su***de.

We’ve officially kicked off our Shared Journey support group - a group designed with caregivers in mind. We had an overwhelming response last month evidenced by a packed room. We are already hearing positive feedback from last month’s participants!

Yesterday we had the privilege of serving snacks and goodies to all hospital staff during our Behavioral Health Meet and Greet for Mental Health Awareness Month.

We are often tucked away in our clinics, quietly doing meaningful work behind the scenes. We are grateful for these opportunities to get out and mingle and share our passion for mental health with our community and hospital staff.
