TDCJ - Price Daniel Unit

Last month at the Daniel Unit, our inmates were given a truly special opportunity to participate in A Day with Dad. This meaningful event allowed fathers and their children to spend quality time together, creating memories through crafts, activities, laughter, and conversation.
For many of these dads, moments like these are priceless. The chance to bond with their children, share smiles, and simply enjoy being together serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of family and the relationships they cherish most.

Every participant valued this opportunity and embraced every moment spent with their child. Events like A Day with Dad help strengthen family connections, inspire hope, and create memories that will be treasured long after the day has ended. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this heartfelt experience possible. ❤️

Inmates enjoyed an exciting handball tournament featuring both singles and doubles competition last week. The energy was high, the competition was friendly, and everyone had a great time showcasing their skills on the court.

Starting off for the units' Mental Health Awareness month, Cheryl Hays Wise had a session called Let's Talk About It on May 2nd. She had over 60 offenders that were very polite and gave lots of feed back on their mental health. We love the work she is doing to help the inmate population.
