Snippets of today's branding. We had some great help, the weather worked out alright, and everything went well.

It's the end of an era over here - after years of being almost entirely custom orders, I've decided to take a break from customs for the foreseeable future.
I've got a couple little ones to wrap up, but it means I'll be able to focus on making pieces that are purely from my own creativity. (!!!) I've got a bunch of half-started projects that I've never been able to finish and some skills I've wanted to work towards that I haven't had the time to focus on.
But I went out with a bang - this was a pretty big order of rings that will make some gals in Montana hopefully very happy!

Awesome ladies initials cuff. Thick 14 gauge sterling with a rope border. The last year or so I've been particularly into building bracelets, definitely looking forward to doing a few more this year.

Do I remember to take good pictures of everything? Uh, definitely not. Which is a shame because this scarf slide is absolutely stunning and I should have taken better pictures so I could show it off properly.

I sand-casted this motel keychain this fall by using a plastic motel keychain as my form and fancied it up with a flower and some pretty engraving. Haven't really decided what to do with it - turned out absurdly heavy (over 3 ounces!!) so with today's silver prices at $90/oz it's a bit ridiculous. Not sure what I'll do with it but I like looking at it!

Now ain't this a BUCKLE? This was a first for me - I've been toying around with the bulino style of engraving for a little while, so when a customer had this fabulous idea for a mountain scene buckle for a Christmas gift I was all for it. I learned a lot from it and am very pleased with how it turned out.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
These two are custom silver money clips that went out for the holiday.
Always keep learning new things, folks. I swear that learning is the number one thing I can do to keep the creativity flowing and burnout at bay.
