Hey Sweets Buffets

Wow, it has been a long time since I have been in the kitchen! This picture popped up this morning and it pulled at my heart. Let me fill you in...Hey Sweets is still up and running, just not in the normal way it was prior to 2020. I took some family time in 2020 as I had a Senior in High School. Then Covid hit and now I have another Senior in High School. I am currently not taking on BIG events at this time as our youngest is keeping us very busy in the College/Soccer recruiting journey. I am hoping to start booking events in the Fall of 2022 after I get our 2 boys off to college. Now that life is returning to a bit of normalcy, I am really missing my baking job.

A special 15th birthday cake request! Requests were white cake, strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. Oh and pink drips would be cute 😍

Testing out a new Hot Cocoa mix...Red Velvet 😳 .reiner and I think it is pretty good. Need to get opinions from the other 2 guys in the house.

Christmas Eve dessert is complete! Boozy Eggnog Cake with White Chocolate Ganache drip. Merry Christmas to you all ❤🎄🎅🤶☃️

What desserts are you working on for your Christmas celebrations? This is my Rum Simple Syrup for my Boozy Eggnog Cake. I will also be making my Maple Pumpkin Pies. I will be using Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. This stuff is delicious 😋 Happy baking and a Very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

Drizzle and Sprinkles! Video coming this weekend

Doing some experimenting with a JUMBO Hot Cocoa Bomb! This is 6" in diameter and should be enough for about 6-8 people. I will post a story when we test it out this weekend in the crockpot.

Concrete and small details were executed quite well with this design. I am so in love with the simplicity of these cakes. The tiny floral details were the perfect touch. It has been a tough year, but finding the beauty in the tiniest of things will always put a smile on your face.
