I had a very long but fun race weekend! My “weekend” started Friday morning with track set up. After set up I was scrambling to find the right tires as the new carpet broke in. I chose Schumacher cut stagger up front all weekend, with the Schumacher mini darts in the rear where I eventually transitioned to proline pyramids. Saturday I was able to qualify 6th into the A main (yay, first time in a while!). On Sunday (today) I had a scare with my peanut allergy in between qualifiers and mains so my performance in the mains lacked since I had taken some medication. Diehard brought their all to the expo this year, and I can’t wait for the next!

Huge thank you to my sponsors for their continued support

Had a good night of track set up/practice at Diehard RC. Had a small issue with a few fans going out, but got it fixed now. My new-to-me Sanwa M12 feels so responsive and connected to the car, it’s crazy. The car is now dialed, let’s just hope the driver will be as well. I’m excited for some racing tomorrow!

I’m super pumped to be a team driver for SOR Graphics during the 2020 race season and beyond, for all my chassis protectors, decals, greases and other miscellaneous things such as glue tips, plugs, etc. needs!

The mog is getting some new parts😍

Had a blast on the carpet today RC! Saw some old and some new faces, and called a few novice races. My 21.5 b6.1 buggy that was loaned to me felt really good through both my qualifiers, and I qualified 4th in both heats. After qualifying in the middle of the Amain (out of 4 mains) I was a little upset that a electronics malfunction kept me from running my main. That’s ok though, I’ll just use that to fuel my burning passion to get better, and I’ll do it better next race!

I’d like to think a few companies/organizations that unofficially support me:

Having a blast out at DieHard RC’s track set up/ Friday night practice! Making the transition from 4wd back to 2wd feels great. My loaner b6.1 feels on point while mine is being finished!

Went for a all day trail run with friends yesterday! The trail was frozen most the way, but where there was sunlight it turned into mud😜. I found a frozen pond to play on which was a blast. I’m super impressed with my 1080 which I threw in last minute, programmed at the trail head, then ran flawlessly the entire hike!

What’s everyone doing in preparation for turkey day and the weekend? I had to finish some stuff for my Principles of Engineering class, and then figured the mog could use a good cleaning!

I’ve been kind of radio silent for a while as the 2020 race season starts, I change classes then back again, learn how to call races, and get into crawling! I’m very excited to move forward in the hobby, and am looking forward to a great 2020 race season! More posts to come!

Out getting the UMG dirty!

After desperately trying to get my cars ready since last night, and fighting issues on both cars this morning, things are starting to look up for me at Diehard. My 1st qualifier in 17.5 was just ok since I got no practice on the new layout, and having never raced a 13.5 4wd buggy the first qualifier was rocky. Afterwards, I put in 2 solid qualifiers in both of my classes, and I’m excited for mains!

Looks like I may need a bigger hauler bag now that I’m running 2 classes🤭
