HELP NEEDED! We have not asked for financial help in a long time, but we need your help to get these dogs the medical treatment they need! Both of the dogs pictured below need surgeries that we cannot afford. Laney (harlequin) needs a spay and a mass removal and Rupert (black) needs eye surgery. The total cost for these 2 surgeries is $3500! These dogs cannot be adopted until these surgeries are completed and we want to get them in loving forever homes as soon as possible.
*PLEASE DONATE via paypal to Southern Style Great Dane Rescue or Cash app to $SouthernStyleGDR

Please welcome Rupert to SSGDR! This poor boy was a stray that was pulled from a shelter in Georgia. He is safe at our vet's office now. He is getting treatment for emaciation, internal parasites, and severe wounds on his legs. Once he is healthy, he will need to be neutered and get cherry eye repair surgery. Despite everything he's been through, he is a big sweetheart and is cooperating with all the wound care and taking all his medication in treats! We are thankful we were able to help this truly gentle giant!
PLEASE DONATE below if you can. All funds raised will go toward Rupert's treatment costs. This big goofball deserves tons of love and the best care!

Congratulations to our old boy Hooper! He has been adopted by his foster mom and we couldn't be happier! This guy is 7 years old and wasn't getting the care and attention he deserved, but he is living his best life now! Such a great outcome for the sweetest dane we know!

Please welcome Baretta to SSGDR! This beautiful girl was pulled from a shelter in Alabama a couple days ago. She is sweet and has gotten along well with other dogs so far. We are not sure of her age, but will have more info after her vet visit this week. She has some skin issues, is underweight and is favoring one of her hind legs. So, vet will be checking her out for those things. She will not be available for adoption until we know more about her health and what care she may need.

Congratulations to Gabby! She was adopted by her foster family! This sweet girl LOVES her "sisters" and would spend hours playing ball in the yard with them if she could! Gabby has such a great family and we so are happy for all of them!

FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Lily is ready for adoption and looking for a loving family! She is 2 year old, is UTD on vaccines and has been spayed. She is spunky, silly and a bundle of energy. She LOVES all people of any age! She is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. Lily likes to snuggle and would love a family that has fenced yard where she can run and play. This girl will make you laugh every day!
Lily is doing well with the male dane in her foster home, however, she has had issues with certain other dogs in the past. We feel that a home with no other dogs or perhaps a laid back male dane would be ideal. Since she is young and rambunctious, she will need people that can play with her to expend her energy and provide clear leadership, boundaries and limitations. She is currently being fostered in northern Alabama.
If you would like to add this beautiful girl to your family, please go to our website and fill out an application www.southernstylegreatdanerescue.com
