We design and manufacture an Engine Swap Kit to install the Honda J Series V6 Engine into the 1989 to 2005 Mazda Miata.
Our kit utilizes the stock Miata subframe and the 5 or 6 speed manual transmission.

Here is a Vtec oil pressure switch bypass procedure. Just make sure you don't let your oil level get low. The oil pressure switch is there to conserve the engine if the oil level runs low or the Vtec screen is clogged.

Oz Engineering is proud to announce some exciting improvements to our Miata V6 kit. We found a starter from a 2014 Honda Accord V6 that doesn't have an external solenoid. This starter is smaller and allowed us to relocate it to the drivers side. This change enables the stock Miata slave cylinder and clutch fork to be used without any modification. It also greatly improved the exhaust routing on the passenger side while also providing a clear route for the exhaust piping over the top of the starter on the drivers side. In addition to this the adapter has been modified to work with both the early and late model J Engines. These changes have been made with help from our customers thru their feedback. Thanks for helping us make the best kit out there!
