At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Slidell, located at 35300 Home Estate Dr, Slidell LA 70460, join us on Thursdays at 11:30 am for nourishment of “body and soul”. Usually a delightful soup or main dish, and potluck sides are welcome. Pastor Robert “Bob” Belknap leads us in Bible study. Currently we are discovering Revelation. A great way to connect with others!
On Sunday, we gather at 9 am for Sunday School, and 10:30 am Worship Service. A fellowship meal follows on Sunday.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Slidell, 35300 Home Estate Dr, Slidell LA celebrated Sunday Bible study and Worship today, with Word and Sacrament. Not only honoring mothers with flowers, but witnessing First Communion for young Jeffery, which made this a very special day. Thank you, Dear Lord, for Your Gracious Gifts. Reverend Robert Belknap serves us at Good Shepherd. We welcome visitors!
9 am Sunday Bible Study, 10:30 am Worship. A fellowship meal after worship offers a glad opportunity to get acquainted. On Thursdays is served a lunch at 11:30 am, usually soup and potluck sides, followed by a Bible study, currently in Revelation. YOU are most welcome here!

Praising Him, sharing the Word, leading in prayer, and encouraging each other…there is room for you also at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Slidell. On Sunday Rev Robert Belknap leads us in Bible Study 9am. The Worship Service is 10:30 am. A Fellowship meal follows worship. Thursdays you are welcome to join in a potluck lunch, generally soup and sides, at 11:30 am, with Bible study (currently in Revelation), with Pastor Belknap. Our Congregation has begun a food ministry for the community, and opportunities are plentiful to help others. We will be glad to meet you, and share the Good News!

The solemn reminder at Good Friday Service of Darkness gives way to joy on Easter Sunday. The celebration began with an 8 am Easter Breakfast, followed by Bible Study and Worship! Thank you, Dear Lord, for the sure and certain Hope in your Resurrection!

We celebrated Palm Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, at 35300 Home Estate Dr, Slidell LA on March 29, 2026. We treasure our visitors, including Charles and Debra Howard who provided volunteer labor to help build the church home in 2006-2007 as Laborers for Christ! Reverend Robert “Bob” Belknap guided us on the palm-filled Procession into the door to begin our Worship. “All Glory, Laud and Honor!”
Pastor’s message reminded us of the depth of Jesus’ love, as he resolutely journeyed to the Cross.
YOU are most welcome to join us in Worship this Passion Week. On Thursday April 2nd, at 5 pm there will be a Maunday Thursday Service with Holy Communion. On Friday April 3rd, at 5pm there will be a solemn Tenebrae Service of Darkness.
And on Easter Sunday, Good Shepherd will host an 8 am Breakfast, 9 am Bible Study, and 10:30 am Worship Service.

“Feed My Lambs” at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Slidell LA on March 28, 2026 was a God-given event! The volunteer team, with Thrivent support, held both a first-time Food Pantry ministry and a Spaghetti Lunch for the community. Over 75 meals were served, and a number of families received items from the Food Pantry. Many thanks to all who participated, to our welcome guests and visitors, and to the joy-filled team who supplied the energy. Here are a few candid, and group pictures. “Feed my lambs!” Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Slidell LA is hosting a free Spaghetti Dinner Saturday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at 35300 Home Estate Dr, Slidell LA. Also our fledgling Food Ministry is rolling out the first Grocery Distribution for those in need. All are invited- to be part of the team, and to share in the Lord’s blessing. “Lost or strayed sheep are always welcome in our congregation! “ Reverend Robert Belknap leads Sunday Bible study, 10:30 am Worship. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, also known as Passion Sunday. On Thursday April 2 , 2026, Maunday Thursday service at 5 pm. On Friday April 3, a somber 5 pm Tenebrae Service is offered, as we reflect on Christ’s love for us. Easter Breakfast at 8 am on April 4th, prior to our study and Worship will be celebrated.
