Arborist services and landscape management Mark Tournier is owner/operator of Outside Expectations. Mark began in 1996 as a groundman for Bayou Tree Service.
He has always had a passion for trees and enjoys the challenges and adventures of climbing. He excelled in the industry and became a climber and certified basic arborist through ACRT in a short period of time. Mark decided to open his own business, Mark's Tree Service and has worked at some of the finest homes in the New Orleans Area, even working for customers such as Archie and Cooper Manning. H

Can you identify these plants? Three of them poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac can cause an allergic reaction on the skin of most people who touch them with bare skin. View the article: https://bit.ly/IdentifyPoisonIvy
The rash from these three plants is caused by the oil urushiol, and some people have reactions that are severe enough to warrant emergency medical attention.
Learning to distinguish harmless plants like virginia creeper, box elder, and peppervine from poisonous plants will make for more pleasant and safe outdoor experiences this summer.
