Southern District - LCMS

Keeping an eye on the Gulf this week. NHC now gives an area in the southwestern Gulf a 40% chance of development over the next seven days.

Low pressure is likely to form around midweek, and a tropical depression or storm could develop late this week as it slowly drifts north. Conditions look only marginally favorable, so development would likely be slow. Still too early to pin down any local impacts, but they look possible Friday/Saturday (ish) Stay tuned! Next name is Isaias.

Stay tuned for new date!
