We are on a mission again… As quick as our last predator issue started it stopped. Well, last night…it started again and we woke up to 3 dead quail. There were no obvious signs of what happened or what predator we are facing. Regardless, our traps are loaded with wet cat food, dry dog food, and a honey bun. Wish us lucks 🤞

It was another disappointing morning at Pedigree Farm. We lost a few more chicks to a predator. Our efforts to refortify our fence probably helped but it was not full proof. At this point, we believe we are dealing with 🦝🦝… It’s time to up our efforts. The live trap is set and I’m digging out the cellular trail cams.

It was a sad morning at Pedigree Farm. We woke to find that all 10 of our adolescent quail were killed last night. Our guess is either an owl or a raccoon was the culprit. We take a lot of pride in what we do and when something like this happens, it hurts. We are the protector of these defenseless animals and it feels like we failed them. However, life on the farm can be unpredictable. We are learning from our mistake and will make adjustments to prevent this from happening again.
