🌞It’s a 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐲 in Olde Towne Slidell for the 2nd Annual Lemonpalooza! I’m honored to be part of this vibrant community event, serving up lemonade and treats at our tent and supporting Olde Towne Slidell Main Street's mission to reinvest in and beautify our historic district.

🍋𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐳𝐚 is all about bringing families, businesses, and visitors together to celebrate community spirit, youth entrepreneurship, and small business engagement—with a twist of citrus! Thank you to everyone who came out for the morning Kid’s Lemonade Stand Competition and to those joining us this afternoon for the Lemonpalooza Crawl!

For nearly 40 years, I’ve dedicated my life to service—first as a decorated U.S. Navy Nuclear Weapons Technician trusted with the nation’s most sensitive responsibilities, then as a law enforcement leader in Roswell, GA, and right here in Slidell. I’ve supervised teams, trained hundreds of officers, and earned the trust of my peers, mentors, and the people I serve. I’ve been recognized for lifesaving actions, awarded for excellence, and called on in times of crisis—like when I returned home after Hurricane Katrina to help rebuild our city.

I am proud to have the support of Slidell’s leaders and community heroes, including Mayor Randy Fandal, District Attorney Collin Sims, City Marshal Kevin Foltz, Retired St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Pat Canulette, Former Chief of Police & Mayor Freddy Drennan, Covington Chief of Police Michael Ferrell, and many more respected officials, first responders, and organizations. These endorsements represent a shared commitment to public safety, leadership, and a vision for a stronger, safer Slidell.

My commitment is simple: to protect our community, uphold our values, and ensure the safety and quality of life that every citizen of Slidell expects and deserves. I will be tough on crime, build strong community partnerships, and lead with integrity, transparency, and modern, data-driven policing. There is no on-the-job training for chief—Slidell deserves a leader who is ready on day one.
