This spinel is a sparkle-bomb of blue-violet color confetti that transitions from a primary blue-violet in some lights to nice purple with reddish highlights in others. Vivid saturation. A one off cut that tempts even the most discerning collector. Beautiful open stone that holds a kaleidoscope of velvety hues in all lighting environments. Spinels from Sri-Lanka often have a darker tone, not the case with this open stone.

This pair of garnets were custom cut in matching trillions shapes. Would look good together in a by-pass ring. In the world where color is king, both these stones pack a punch.
The spessartine garnet from Loliondo Tanzania is a true powerhouse with a volcanic vivid-orange yellow color. Spessartine is a manganese-aluminum garnet and the manganese gives the garnet it’s orange color. This gem like most from the region are typically included with fine small crystals or what is referred to as “sugar” In my experience the tiny inclusions help scatter light and give the material an even more pronounced glow.
The tsavorite has fantastic green color with blue modifier. It has some sugar and is included.
