The mission of the Sitka Economic Development Association (SEDA) is to strengthen Sitka's economy by supporting existing businesses, attracting and nurturing appropriate new business, and ensuring continued economic diversification. SEDA is a 501c3 Non-profit Organization funded by the City and Borough of Sitka and generous sponsors that are interested in improving Sitka's economy and the quality of life of our residents.

We are proud to announce that SEDA has been awarded not one, but two $8,750 Member Impact Fund Grants from Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines! We celebrate both First Bank and Northrim Bank, Member FDIC's commitment to SEDA's mission. The funds will go towards our continued commitment to target economic development in Sitka that will foster a business climate that is receptive and conducive to existing and new business, helping promote the creation of family wage jobs and enhance the quality of life for Sitkans!
