Tamiya 1/35 Panzer VI Ausf. E - Tiger 1 “Eastern Front” Russia Winter 1944
The pivot from the first paint job to this all white scheme really did the trick for my motivation. Motivation was fleeting until changing directions. Quite proud of how this Tiger turned out and especially proud of my first attempt at doing an actual dirt road (sand/garden dirt/pva glue/water) on this diorama base. Additionally think that the trees turned out better than I expected with the snow accents. Learned lessons on order of operations when doing something with snow, how to apply diorama glue properly, how to mix and apply dirt, first time creating damaged effects to the model tank itself. A lot of things done for the first time and a lot of hesitation squashed by just doing it.
Think a lot of the nerves came from wanting it to turn out so well, as this is a surprise gift for a close family friend.
Can’t thank everyone enough for their support and encouragement along this journey, it is truly and genuinely appreciated more than you’ll know!
As always, THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Completed Tamiya 1/35 Soviet T-34/85 “Eastern Front” still shots
I was doing a series on this build earlier this summer and put it in the “I’ll finish it later” box. 6 months, and 2 commision pieces later, I decided to finish it. All that was left was tracks, and pigment or “applied earth” to the tracks. Everything else was done including applied earth to the wheels. Fun build overall, tracks weren’t the best I’ve seen and am now considering going with aftermarket metal tracks for future builds. The rubber band tracks are too inconsistent in quality and fit in my opinion.
As always, THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

Tamiya 1/35 Tiger 2 & Display Case Diorama - Complete.
Finished weathering the barrels, crates and pallet. Did 2 washes, the first I used Burnt Umber, the second Black. Then set up the crates and pallet how I wanted them, then glued those 4 pieces together to form one piece. From there I added water diluted PVA glue with a brush to the areas I wanted the snow to be secured, did the same with the barrels, minus gluing. I’m calling this piece done. A clear display top will be secured to the base as the final touch, to prevent having to dust a diorama with snow accents in the future. AS ALWAYS.. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
