Perry Nature Area
The G.H. Perry family owned the East Sioux Falls town site for over one hundred years.
In 1999, the family donated a majority of the original town site to the county. The property is being developed as Perry Nature Area, a public recreation facility that preserves the site's historic and natural features.

Minnehaha County Parks - Perry Nature Area The Perry Nature Area encompasses 23 acres of diverse ecosystems, including woodlands, upland grasslands and riparian areas, and is home to a wide variety of native plants and numerous species of wildlife. In addition to these natural features, the area is linked to a rich cultural history.
