URGENT: Baby Marlowe Needs Your Help

This sweet kitten went from playful and normal to swollen almost overnight. Her foster noticed her belly, legs, and private parts ballooning up very quickly — and rushed her straight to the emergency vet. 😢

Right now Marlowe is in the hands of the ER team, and we don't yet know what's causing this or what her treatment will require. What we do know is that emergency vet care adds up fast, and every dollar helps us give her the best shot at recovery.

😾 MOOP IS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS 😾

Let’s set the scene: Moop raised THREE litters of kittens — one of which wasn’t even biologically hers, she just took them in because that’s who she is. Fed them. Groomed them. Put up with their nonsense at 3am. And what does she get for her trouble?

She gets to watch every. single. one. of them get adopted before her. 🙄

Litter #1? All adopted. 🎉 The bonus litter that wasn’t even hers? Also all adopted. 🎉 Litter #2? Almost all adopted. 🎉
Moop, meanwhile: still here. Still waiting. And honestly? Not that interested. 💅

She’s not devastated. She’s not even mildly concerned. She watched every single one of her babies get scooped up and her reaction has been a slow blink and a return to her nap. Moop doesn’t chase, beg, or perform for anyone’s attention — if you want her, you’ll have to earn it, and even then she’ll consider whether you’re worth getting up for.

This 2-year-old three-litter veteran is looking for someone who respects a good sunbeam and doesn’t take it personally when she’d rather be left alone. Good with kids, dogs, and cats — she’ll just pretend she isn’t impressed by any of them.

She raised three litters and didn’t even blink when they left. Time to prove someone’s worthy of the mom.
