The Foster Network will empower and support families with children placed by a licensing agency. We provide essential resources for children in foster care.

Since our organization began in 2012, The Foster Network has supported local foster families in Sioux Falls, SD, and the surrounding area. This includes access to support groups, events, scholarship opportunities, bedroom furniture access, and The Closet, where foster families can receive clothing, supplies, and toys for the children they are fostering. We aim to ensure families have reliable and

πŸ“£ Calling Community Partners & Vendors!

We're looking for organizations, businesses, and community resources to join our School Year Kickoff Resource Fair on August 1 at The Foster Network.

Hosted in partnership with Foster605, this annual event helps children and families connected to foster care start the school year with the resources, support, and connections they need to thrive.

Last year, we served more than 450 children, and we're hoping to reach even more families this year.

Whether you'd like to share information about your services, connect families to community resources, provide support or educational opportunities, or build relationships with foster and adoptive families, we'd love to have you join us.

🩡 Every donation has a purpose.

Not every donated item is something we can use, but that doesn't mean it can't make a difference.

We're grateful for our partnership with Compassion in Action, which allows us to extend the impact of donations and support families throughout our community.

β˜€οΈ Sunshine, playground adventures, and time spent together.

Our June 12 Park Meet Up was filled with laughter and connection among our community. These simple opportunities to gather, play, and spend time together are what community is all about.

Join us at our next gathering to play volleyball or basketball, connect with other foster, adoptive, and kinship families, or simply enjoy a summer evening at the park.

We love seeing young people give back. 🩡

Recently, a group from YMCA Leif Ericson Day Camp spent time volunteering at The Foster Network, helping us sort and organize the incredible number of donations we've received from our community.

Their willingness to dedicate time and energy to supporting children and families impacted by foster care is a wonderful reminder that compassion and service can start at any age.

Thank you to these campers and leaders for lending a hand and helping us continue our mission. We are grateful for your support and the difference you're making for other children in our community.
