General information
OBJECTIVES:
• Through a partnership with SCCSD’s Beyond the Bell Program, conduct a free basketball camp annually and provide the opportunity to earn Annual Camp Scholarships & Elite Scholarships.
• For a minimal fee, provide youth outside of the Beyond the Bell Program the opportunity to attend the annual WGN Basketball Camp and earn Annual Camp Scholarships & Elite Scholarships.
• Thorough fundraising and charity events, raise money to support area schools and youth in a variety of ways (i.e. needed equipment, camp fees, needed nutrition, etc).
• Provide an annual, first-class basketball camp geared towards teaching fundamentals while educating participants on the importance of Character, Academics and Work Ethic.
