A little business update… and a huge thank you.

When I opened Curious Roots Wellness, my hope was to create a space where people could feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. The response from this community has been more than I ever imagined, and I truly can’t thank you enough.

Because of this incredible growth, I will be starting a waitlist for new clients.

While my immediate availability is becoming limited, I am absolutely still welcoming referrals.

Why?🧐

Because every referral helps me better understand the needs of our community. My vision has always been bigger than just me, and one of my long-term goals is to thoughtfully expand Curious Roots Wellness so we can continue serving more children, teens, adults, and families across Pennsylvania.

If you’re looking for therapy or you’re a provider looking to refer someone, please continue to reach out. Even if I don’t have an immediate opening, I’d love the opportunity to connect and determine whether joining the waitlist is the best next step.

To everyone who has trusted me with your care, referred a client, shared a post, or supported this journey in any way: thank you. Your support is helping Curious Roots Wellness grow into something truly meaningful.

📩 Referrals are still welcome.
📝 A waitlist is now available for future openings.
🌿 More exciting things are ahead.

This isn’t the end of availability, it’s the beginning of the next chapter for Curious Roots Wellness.

I’m not everyone’s cup of coffee…and that is okay☕🦋

I believe healing starts at the roots, parents deserve support too, and ADHD conversations can easily become my favorite rabbit hole.

I’m a therapist, a business owner, a mom, a lifelong learner, a book worm and someone who believes progress will always matter more than perfection.

If that sounds like your kind of corner of the internet, I’m really glad you’re here🫶🏼

One question before you scroll: Which one on this list surprised you the most?💬

Monday Mindset☀️🌿

Before you plan your week, check in with yourself. On a scale of 1–10, how full is your battery today?💬

🫶🏼You don’t have to operate at 100% to have a successful week. Honor where you are, adjust your expectations when needed, and remember that sustainable progress comes from working with yourself, not against yourself.

Follow Curious Roots Wellness for practical mental health tips, nervous system education, and tools that support healing from the roots up. Save this post for a reminder later this week.

400 followers…thank you🫶🏼🎉

When I started Curious Roots Wellness, I never imagined how much support this community would show. Whether you’ve liked a post, shared my page, recommended my practice, attended an event, or simply followed along, thank you. Every bit of support means more than you know.

As a small, locally owned private practice, word of mouth truly makes all the difference. Every share, comment, and recommendation helps someone who may be looking for support find my page.

If you’ve found value in what I share, I’d be so grateful if you’d continue helping Curious Roots Wellness grow by:
💚Sharing my page with friends and family
🩵Inviting others to follow
💛Liking, commenting on, or sharing posts that resonate with you
🩷Recommending Curious Roots Wellness when someone is looking for a therapist in Pennsylvania if you think I’d be a good fit

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m excited to continue growing this community, sharing resources, and helping people heal from the roots up.

Here’s to the next milestone together💖

Grief changes us, and we don’t have to navigate it alone.

As a Certified Child & Adolescent Grief Counseling Specialist, these are some of the grief and loss books I often recommend to children, teens, caregivers, clinicians, and the professionals I supervise📚💚

Every grief journey is different, so not every book will be the right fit for every person. These are simply resources that may provide comfort, education, or a way to start important conversations.

Please remember: Books can be a wonderful support, but they are not a substitute for individualized grief therapy. If you or your child are grieving, consider connecting with a qualified mental health professional for personalized care.

🔗 You’ll find my recommended books through my Amazon Associate links in the Recommendations section of my bio. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.

💬Is there a grief book that has helped you or someone you love? Share it in the comments.

ADHD can affect more than just school, it often impacts work, too. Difficulties with focus, organization, time management, and prioritizing tasks can make the workday feel overwhelming.

The good news is that small, practical changes can help. Creating routines, breaking tasks into smaller steps, reducing distractions, and taking regular breaks are all strategies that can support productivity while working with your brain instead of against it.

There isn’t one “right” way to be productive. Finding what works for you is what matters.

Looking for ADHD support that goes beyond quick tips? I’d love to help. Reach out to learn more about ADHD therapy and assessments.

Big feelings can be overwhelming for children and the adults supporting them💛

When emotions run high, connection comes before correction. Grounding techniques help children reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and feel safe enough to work through what they’re experiencing.

Try one of these simple strategies the next time your little one is having a hard moment. Small moments of co-regulation can make a big difference over time.

🌻Remember: Every child is different. What works for one may not work for another, and that’s okay. Building emotional regulation is a skill that develops with practice, patience, and supportive relationships.
