We’ve spent a lot of this week talking about HoneyPop.

But the best part of this first year really hasn’t been the drinks or the camper.

It’s been the people.

The people who invite us back.

The people who bring their friends.

The kids who already know exactly what they’re ordering when they walk up.

The familiar faces we see event after event.

The organizations, schools and businesses that trusted a brand-new little business to show up.

And every person who has shared a post, recommended us, stopped by or told someone, “You have to try HoneyPop.”

You helped build this right alongside us.

One year later, we still don’t take that for granted.

Thank you for giving our little camper such a big first year. 🐝

Tomorrow, we celebrate

10/01/2026

Behind every HoneyPop event are two very different kinds of chaos. 🐝

After a year of doing this together, we’ve learned that we each have our own things we are completely incapable of being normal about.

For Meghan, it’s the drinks.

Does it taste right? Does it LOOK right? Is the color right? Does it need one less pump? One more pump? A different topping? A different syrup entirely?

Speaking of syrups
our basement would like a word.

Because apparently the only way to know if a syrup is good is to buy it. And the other one. And probably three more just in case.

There are SO. MANY. SYRUPS.

Meanwhile, Erin is looking at the camper thinking

Do we need another sign?

Are these colors right?

Could this be cuter?

Where are we going to put all of this?

And, most importantly: Can we just bungee it somewhere?

Meghan is holding up a drink asking, “Does this need something?”

Erin is standing ten feet away deciding whether a sign needs to move two inches to the left.

And somehow
this is HoneyPop.

One of us obsesses over what goes in the cup.

The other obsesses over everything happening around it.

We drive each other slightly crazy. We definitely enable each other’s ideas. And neither of us has ever met the phrase “good enough” and thought, “Yep, sounds great.”

But one year later, we’re pretty sure that’s a big part of why HoneyPop looks and feels the way it does.

Although for Year Two, we should probably agree on one thing:

No more syrups. And no more signs.

Neither of those things is going to happen. 😂

Okay, we’ve talked about how HoneyPop started
now we want to hear from you. 🐝

Over the last year, we’ve made a LOT of drinks.

Some have been with us since the beginning. Some lasted a season. Some made one appearance and disappeared. And some of you are still asking us to bring your favorite back.

So for tonight’s Anniversary Week question:

What’s YOUR HoneyPop drink?

The one you order every time. The seasonal one you waited all year to have again. The retired one you’re still mad about. Or just the best drink you’ve had from us so far.

Drop it in the comments. 👇

We want to see which drinks really defined Year One.

And who knows
if enough of you start naming the same retired drink, you might make a pretty convincing argument. 👀

How it started
 🐝

A year ago, HoneyPop was an idea, a little camper, and two people who had absolutely no idea how much we were about to learn.

There was so much that happened before we ever opened that window for the first time.

We worked on the camper. We figured out equipment and supplies and setups. We made menus, changed them, and changed them again. We tried to figure out what HoneyPop should look like, feel like, and what we wanted people to remember about us.

And we taste tested. So. Many. Drinks.

There was a ridiculous amount of trial and error behind that first menu. Recipes we thought would be amazing that absolutely were not. 😂 Tiny changes that somehow made a huge difference. Drinks we tested over and over until they finally tasted exactly the way we wanted them to.

We got a lot right.

We also got a lot wrong.

We bought things we didn’t need. Forgot things we definitely did need. Changed our minds approximately 400 times. And learned very quickly that there are some things you simply cannot figure out until you’re actually standing inside a camper with a line of people waiting for drinks.

But little by little, HoneyPop started to feel like HoneyPop.

The camper came together. The menu became ours. We found our rhythm. And eventually we opened that window for the first time and hoped people would show up.

And you did. 💛

Looking back at where we started compared to where we are now is a little surreal.

We definitely didn’t have it all figured out then.

And if we’re being fair
we still don’t.

But we’ve gotten pretty good at figuring it out along the way.

Somehow
HoneyPop is ONE. 🐝

One whole year of drinks, events, late nights, early mornings, new friends, questionable amounts of syrup, and watching this little idea turn into something bigger than we ever expected.

And one post definitely isn’t enough to celebrate all of that.

So we’re making a whole week out of it.

Join us this week as we look back at year one, share some of our favorite moments, ask you to weigh in on a few things
and of course, celebrate BIG on Friday night.

HoneyPop anniversary week starts now! We have so much to celebrate.

But next weekend is looking SO good! 🍂🐝 We have a great lineup coming your way, including our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY on Friday! Be sure to tell us you are coming by interacting with our event post!

We’ll share all the details this week — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Weekend plans are finally here! 🐝

We held off on posting our schedule this week while we watched the weather, and unfortunately we’ve already had a few cancellations. đŸŒ§ïž

Here’s where you can still find us this weekend! With the forecast still a little unpredictable, our schedule is subject to change if the weather shifts.

We’ll post any cancellations or changes here as soon as we have them. Fingers crossed the rain gives us a break!
