Who needs a passport when you have Pennsylvania?

Big shout out to @wangmonyc for sharing their content from the Reading Pagoda with me (it’s currently under construction until spring 2026)! They have some awesome travel content so be sure to give them a follow!

📍Reading Pagoda in Reading, Pennsylvania 🇯🇵 The Reading Pagoda is currently under construction so you won’t be able to visit until construction is complete in spring of 2026!

📍Switzerland of America in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania 🇨🇭 Jim Thorpe is one of my favorite towns I’ve ever visited! It’s full of character, views, and quirky corners making it a great weekend getaway in the Pocono Mountains

📍Stroudtburg Village in Adamstown, Pennsylvania 🇩🇪 This residential neighborhood really surprised me! It’s free to visit and worth a stop if you’re nearby

📍Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania 🇫🇷 This garden was rated as the best in America by Martha Stewart! Entry is $25 and plan to spend a few hours here watching the fountain shows and exploring all 1,000+ types of plants here.

📍Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, Pennsylvania 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 The fonthill castle is an eclectic collection of one man’s life and love for travel. You can book a guided tour for $15 per person!

📍Wat Mongkoltepmunee Temple in Bensalem, Pennsylvania 🇹🇭 This Thai temple is tucked in an unassuming suburb of Philadelphia and is free to visit. The staff is beyond kind and let me know that they host free meditation for the public every Saturday at 5pm!

How many of these places in Pennsylvania have you been to?
