This is a great example of CROP Hunger Walk donations helping to create sustainable self-sufficiency in resource-deprived areas. People want to work, but lack skills and seed money. CROP Hunger Walks help fund CWS' support of in-country workers finding ways to assist.

From Latin America, pride and thanks to CROP Hunger Walk support of food banks and local agencies | CWS Friends in Deed, an inter-faith agency that provides supportive services to meet basic human needs to homeless and at-risk neighbors in Pasadena, California. The Harvest Food program at the United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks, California, a closed food pantry providing healthy food to families....
