40 years ago today I was sitting in Ms. Ikoma's biology class at Chatsworth High School.

With about two minutes left in the period, the schools PA system came to life.

A solemn voice announced that the Space Shuttle Challenger had blown up shotly after takeoff and there were no survivors.

Everyone gasped and Ms. Ikoma laid her head down and wept.

"The future doesn't belong to the faint-hearted. It belongs to the brave."

Today I had the privilege of going on a tour with other members of the community at the Adventist Health Simi Valley Hospital this morning.

Learned a lot about how this great hospital serves our community.

Yesterday was a busy day! Steve Little and I flew to Sacramento to join a coalition to speak to CA legislators regarding what steps can be taken to resolve the CA homeowners insurance crisis.

The Coalition included the CA Building Industry Association, the CA Mortgage Bankers Association and the Personal Insurance Federation of CA.

All groups agree on what needs to be done to help resolve the insurance crisis.

I appreciate the legislators who met with us and overwhemingly agreed on the steps that they and the CA DOI can take to help California move out of this crisis.

Ok…April Fools!

23 Years!

23 Years ago I opened my agency.

Every day there are challenges. Every day there are opportunities.

But more than anything I have gratitude for family, friends and clients who have supported on this journey.
