While waiting for my niece to finish her finals so we can go home, I decided to be productive! Feels good to make products again!

✨️Feeling inspired today, so I opened my Book of Magic and got busy! ✨️

Go check out my son. He will be dj'ing today at the Simi Pride event in Simi Valley at Rancho Park (the duck park). My daughter will be selling Chronically Wired jewelery and other LGBTQ products. Since I am in Berkeley, go stop by and tell my kids that momma loves them! 😉 You don't want to miss this event!

Today was an emotional day! I was selected as a UC Berkeley Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar. This scholarship is the highest academic honor offered by the university. I know I will kill it at Berkeley, but still that little voice from my lesser self likes to creep in and give its 2 cent every now and then. I had to keep sucker punching her all day that it wore me out! Lol 🙄
All the crap that I've gone thru with Lupus and life, I would have never pictured myself where I stand today! I am honestly humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude that it brought me to tears throughout the day!
I could not have done this without my tribe by my side and supporting me thru this journey!! I want to thank everyone of you who have supported me in one way or another. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Happy Lupus Awareness Month! My journey has not been easy, but it has made me a strong and determined woman! I may look "normal," but this is what lupus looks like. Having an autoimmune disease, some of us can not hold a job, and we are forced into disability. I had averaged being hospitalized every 2-3 months for weeks at a time. I was fortunate enough to have amazing family and friends who kept me going! Some do not have that support. Help spread awareness to help find a cure for lupus!
