Both of these photos were taken during a sunset session and again just as one had ended this past week. Both times it was because I’m basically Doug from “UP” and get distracted over anything if you have ever shot with me. In these cases both shoots weren’t mine and somehow someway I was able to be privileged and fortunate to have had the opportunity to be at both of these places to celebrate and help capture two different love stories with some of the most beyond talented and passionate individuals at their crafts . “Life's most precious moments are not all loud or uproarious. Silence and stillness has its own virtues.”… so I stopped for just a few seconds took gave Honi to Kauai and breath in from Washington mountains…. Swatted a mosquito and got back to wuuurk! And no office quotes this time tragic I know. Surely I can’t be that serious all the sudden… well I am serious and please don’t call me Shirley.

I may have watched and then rewatched webinars on low light photography in the blue hour….. x number of times and that is why I always have a lantern or two in me pack in the case I get a couple like these two that are willing to take me to the spot where they began their journey with a beer, no shoes and the fish nipping at their toes. Thank you both and I can’t wait to see you for the big day!
