Ordnance Locker

A while back, I picked up a slightly used Staccato XC in a trade. Someone had swapped out the grip and trigger, and its history was not entirely known. Being very much myself, I called my buddy Keith over at Grayguns because I knew they had some 2011 projects in the works.

They fitted it with a new hammer, disconnector, sear spring, and mainspring, using EGW tool-steel parts. The hammer and sear were hand-fitted to produce a cleaner, more consistent trigger break. Now she’s nice and smooth...

The hour is late as I cruise home, and I can’t help but daydream, awkward, given it’s almost midnight, about doing hoodrat s**t with my friends.

I tried to cram doing three matches of photos into a single month, and combined with my other work, I have fallen behind. I'll be working to wrap up the B&T Box Canyon Showdown this week, and the Lone Peak Snake River Standoff next week. I appreciate everyone's patience, and hopefully the results outweigh the waiting.
