Olympic Ridge Roost
Located with a view of the Olympic Mountain ridges, our breeding program focuses on Silverudd's Blue. New for 2023 - We are NPIP - AI Clean and PT Negative!
Silverudd’s Blue (formally known as Isbar) are loved for laying pretty green eggs (sometimes speckled), being good foragers, and watchers of the sky. You’ve asked, so I’m sharing a pic of my older SilverMar (left) and SilverBar (right) pullets. Both have homozygous Silverudd’s Blue dads. Mamas are Cuckoo Marans and Crested Cream Legbar with the barring genes. That combination yields sex-linked babies at hatch 💚 Nova and Ripley are about 4 1/2 months old here and will likely lay in late winter/early spring. I’m looking forward to their olive to aqua colored eggs.

Blue vs self-blue (lavender) feathers. Silverudd’s Blue pullet on the left and Bantam Ameraucana on the right. Cuddling babies don’t care about colors, but it’s highly discouraged to mix these genetics💕 💙🩶
