One thing I’ve learned from asking questions and reading people’s stories is that *The Millionaire Next Door* is spot on. Most millionaires live simple, modest lives—not all, but most.

Meanwhile, many of the people showing off flashy lifestyles can’t actually afford them. Sure, some can, but they’re the exception, not the rule. The truth is, very few people who *look* wealthy actually *are* wealthy.

On the flip side, that person shopping at Costco in pajamas and a hoodie? They might just be a multi-millionaire. Speaking from experience.
